Dave and I finished the bow with additional material. Taped and caulked all seams. K.G. & Leo taped all seams on bottom and primed with Kilz II tinted gray. Karl & Victor second coated the girls boat hot pink and painted the gunwales green. Looks awesome! Reece and I put the second coat of primer on and Leo, K.G. and Frank came back in the afternoon and added a third coat. They will add a coat of urethane on Saturday morning.

Construction day 10 - 7/8/2011

Continued work on the floors and bow. Progress appears slow at the moment, however once we get the floor and top bow section completed the gunwales should go fairly quickly. The guys are also busy gathering items for their pirate costumes.
Karl & Victor have been busy with the Flying Dragon priming the hull in preparation for application of the update color scheme.
The teams also had a short paddling practice Wednesday evening. Things are shaping up!
