Construction day 2 - 6/17/2011

Larry Williams made two templates and brought them today. It is an upside down 'W". The top should be about 40 inches wide and be good and stable. In order to make the W shape it is necessary to lightly score each joint so that the cardboard can be folded. We joined two hull parts together and taped all open edges and seams.We used an overlapping 6" joint and contact cement .
Karl and Victor are working on Tuesdays to modifying last years boat replacing the steering oar with a rudder.
