Construction day 5 - 6/24/2011

Day five of construction and we continued to work on the bottom of the boat. We constructed a triangular wedge the length of the boat and anchored it to the center of the "W" with contact cement. We then slid a cardboard carpet tube inside and capped off the ends. All joints were caulked with liquid nails and edges taped. Another layer of cardboard will be placed over the dual keels and across the center of the bottom of the boat. Short day today, need to let things dry before turning the boat over to start on the gunwales.
